Sad News

It is with great sadness that we report Edmund "Butch" Baumann, Benner's Godfather and Great Uncle, has passed away today. Benner loved Butch dearly, and he was a source of great joy and laughter throughout his life. Butch leaves behind his wife Marge, and together they personify the Christ-like qualities of love, joy and hospitality.

But, in Benner's heart at least, Butch will always be remembered for his mischievous and joking nature. The man never met a fart joke he didn't like, and then of course there was the time he challenged a moose to a fight.

Benner will be flying home to Philadelphia for the funeral this weekend. Unfortunately, the high costs of airline travel combined with a shoestring budget are forcing Rhianwen to stay in LA, much to her regret (She had come to love Butch dearly, and his fart jokes as well). With Sarah and Steve going to Sacramento for the weekend, this will be Rhi's first time alone on the West Coast.

Prayers for Marge, the Benner & Baumann families, and Rhianwen are much appreciated.
