Jeryl ties the Knot

Our very dear friends Joe and Meryl--colloquially known as Jeryl--married each other back in August. We were very honored to be a part of their big day, as friends and actual people that participated in wedding duties, like reading Bible verses and being in the wedding party and stuff. Here is a smattering of photos from the celebration, which was altogether beautiful and lovely.

Hooray Joe and Meryl Jeryl!

Philadelphia!

In August we headed to the city of brotherly love for our annual trek east and to see our dear friends Joe and Meryl wed!

We'll tell you about the nuptials in another post:)

For the sake of this post we'll sum it up as great times with some of our favorite people but as always just not enough time!

We loved spending time with you and are richly blessed to have you in our lives!

Fourth of July!

This year for Fourth of July we welcomed our brother, sister and niece to LA for the weekend. Our friends who live in the apartment next door were coincidentally out of town for the weekend and they generously offered their space. The best part? They have an infant too so all the supplies -- toys, crib, pack and play-- all taken care of! (Oh, and they even got to avoid our queen sized blow up bed - score!)

We had such a fun weekend! Benner made his signature pizza the night they got in and we marveled at Naomi taking in our house for the first time. The next day we all went whale watching in Newport Beach. We saw a blue whale three times fairly close to the boat along with dolphins, pelicans and beautiful views!

Too bad all the girls got sick, including little Nomers!

We explored Newport beach, ate lunch on the pier and came home and crashed from all the house in the sun!

Sunday we went to the farmers market, shopped, swam and enjoyed a sushi dinner. Naomi made friends with everyone in the restaurant! Why tell you when I can show you?

Thanks for coming you guys! We loved having you here!
