Our Christmas Letter

By now, many of you will have received our Christmas card and the accompanying letter. In case you're too lazy to read said letter, here is a spectacular dramatic reading by our friend Greg Jong. I do say, his British accent breathes a spot of life into it. Just push play!

Holiday party extravaganza...

Last weekend we went to three Christmas parties. (We have pictures from two.) Here's our friend Mick. He's fantastic. You may know him as the voice of Disney's Kung Fu Panda. (That is, the soon-to-be released animated series on Nickelodeon, not the movie. That's Jack Black. Mick is not Jack Black.) He's pretty fancy.

We also went to the annual Rilesly's holiday party. Bo our favorite dog was there, along with some of my favorite Telepictures gals. Here we are sitting pretty:

Lucy, the hostess with the mostest even arranged an appearance by Santa. We couldn't help but snag a shot:

And there you have it!

The Jongs.....

are awesome. The end.

Hey, did you know Rhianwen has another blog?

She does! Listen up all you moms with kids who like movies, because this is pertinent to YOU. Rhianwen reviews kids' movies for momlogic.com. Her specific goal is to look for what's good, what's bad and what's appropriate for your kids. Click here (or any of the other links) to be taken to a page with all her entries so far. Read up on them, even the old ones, because they're coming out on DVD soon, you know.

Christmas time in Benner-fornia

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our apartment. Rhi and I recently got our tree out and decorated, and it looked so wonderful that we decided to take a nice family photo.

That's us with the kids. But that wasn't enough, Rhi decided we need to have a photo shoot.

Adorable, ain't she? Not to be outdone, I hopped in front of the tree too.

Not as cute as she is, I'll admit.

Thanksgiving in San Francisco!

Greetings, readers! Are you recovered from Thanksgiving yet? Have you fully rid your home of leftovers? We here at Rhi & Benner Inc. are, but only because we didn't have any leftovers to begin with. That's because we spent our holiday in San Francisco, visiting with Sarah and Steve! Here are some photos:

We ate too much good food. Way too much. Turkey chili, corn pudding (my impression of my grandmother's stellar recipe), Zachary's deep dish pizza, pumpkin pancakes... mmm, food. But we also just spent some good time in San Francisco, where we shopped, saw kittens in Macy's window, and installed a new thermostat. Yay, fun! It was the kind of Thanksgiving getaway that makes you thankful, and stuff.

Now bring on Christmas!

We're going to put these stairs in our house someday

I always wanted to learn to play the piano.
