Johnny Luke: A little late, but here it is

Our friend Johnny was in LA last weekend to hang out with his son John Luke before taking him back for a Philadelphia visit. Here's some shots of the cute kid.

Little John Luke loved that window, and who can blame him? It's a good view of our building's pool.


Here, John Luke is getting ready to hop on airplane to Philadelphia. He's clearly of the mindset that air travel is an occasion to look your best, just like 1960's socialites.

We're sorry we didn't get any photos of John Luke's mom Heather. We were kind of slow on the whole photo thing that weekend.

CUTE KIDS ALERT!!!

A plus-side to living where we live is that there is an abundance of cute kids around. Like this guy:



This is Micah. Tonight was his first birthday. He's cute!



Of all the gifts he got for his birthday, his favorite was the balloons. We got him a toy that blew bubbles. He didn't even look at it.



Between Phil and Rachel's and their next-door neighbors/siblings/siblings-in-law Matt and Jenn, there is a collection of five cute kids. From left to right: Micah, Jamie, Steven, Anna and Jude.



This is Micah's birthday cake. We approve of this cake for many reasons: It's a bear, it's chocolate, the ears are cupcakes... we could go on.




Here he is blowing out the candles. Well, he didn't really do it. His cousins/siblings did it, but we're fairly certain he had a sense of accomplishment about the whole thing.
